Can brands pay for product placement or rankings?
No. KOSMOS operates under strict editorial independence. We do not accept sponsored rankings, paid reviews, or financial incentives from manufacturers to alter our scores.
How does the editorial team select products for testing?
We actively evaluate products based on material integrity, reparability, mechanical craft, and enduring aesthetic design. Products that fail our 30-day field tests are omitted from the archive.
Can we send review samples to the studio?
Yes. Brands may submit samples for evaluation under the strict understanding that submission does not guarantee coverage or a favorable assessment. Unsolicited prototypes cannot always be returned.
Our editorial reviewers evaluate emails Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST. Urgent correction requests on active reviews are given priority queue placement.
